The Government declared Russia is preparing a number of economic sanctions to Turkey following the shooting of aircraft resulting in strain diplomatic relations.

The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev declared, Thursday (26112015), points to such sanctions being prepared and it looks like it will affect the investment policy of the two countries together.

Medvedev said sanctions focus there is on the limitation or prohibition of economic interests of Turkey in Russia as well as restrictions on the supply of products, including foods that are produced by the company in Turkey.

The sectors that will be affected, said Medvedev, is tourism, transportation, trade, labor, customs, and the relationship of humanity.

The two countries have important economic relationship, under which Russia is the second largest trading partner for Turkey, while Turkey became the highest travel destination for tourists Russia.
